My friend Rory is starting a new zine called 'Even Worse Zine' which has a killer first issue coming out in the next few month which features:

* Chris Colohan of Cursed and Left For Dead chattting about whats up these days and motorcycles

* Syracuse heavyweights Earth Crisis spilling the beans on their reformation.

* Buddha of long standing heroes Blood for Blood talking about life post B4B

* The band thats puts the strong in STRONG ISLAND, This Is Hell, talking about their new recording Misfortunes

* Californian grind band GRAF ORLOCK talking about touring Australia and their favourite movies.

* Dan Pilks from No Love Lost and Dogfight Records talking about touring, iPhones and being an independent label.

* Sydneys new all-star band Had It talking about being old and supporting Ceremony.

Also inculdes will be reviews, recipes, photography, film, pentagram bill, anti-religious propganda, bmx, crimes and much much more..

anyway she asked if I wanted to add a lil article about my experience and story as a young blood photographer in the hardcore scene. So keep your eye out for it. Should be able to get it from Resist Records and many other outlets all over Aus and all over the World when it releases.
Also finally got my hands on a copy of a templete of one of Shinto Katana's Newest shirts featuring my picture on the back, Check it:

Cancer

Just Found Out Cancer Bats are coming back to Aus this year, missed them the first time as I was underage. Unfortunately they are supporting Bring Me the Horizon which will undoubtedly make it near impossible to shoot unless I can find some way to get a press pass.
But either way it'll be a really good, and much fun will b had.

Also found some strange things while looking through the stats of my Flickr(http://www.flickr.com/photos/bmhc_photography/). I was looking at the images with the most views and this image had triple the amount of views over any below it.

This Pic of local band Armed With Courage, was the most viewed image on my Flickr, had triple the amount of views than:

This Promo I took of For The Fallen Dreams (US) while I was on tour with them December last year.

Looking Forward

It has been awhile since ive shot anything. Jus been busy with trainning for my new job as a bartender, and also Valentines day and my very good friend who had moved to melbourne was back to visit over the weekend. So It was a good weekend. This week I start work, which will be good to finally have some cash!
On the weekend going to Deez Nuts and Louie Knuxx, keen to see Knuxx and thankfully JJ is putting me on the door, which is so good as I have no money. Also earlier in the week I emailed Maylene & The Sons Of Disaster (http://www.mayleneandthesonsofdisaster.us/) as last time they were here they were meant to give me a door spot and press pass but forgot. Unfourturnatley a press pass was not possible so close to the event, but they were able to give me a free ticket. Which was really awsome. Looking forward to going to a show with really good bands and really enjoing myself.'

Face It

My brother is a Amature movie maker of sorts. He's been making them since he was 12, I usta play staring roles, film them and all that jazz but in the last few years I have ceased to have any contribution. Not on purpose, just cause I couldn't be bothered. When he said he was making a new movie (the 2nd part to his previous movie 'The Face' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1rdvr_Jp6Eo&feature=channel_page) I decided I wanted to be apart of this one for ol' time sake.
Although I only played a minor part It turned out good. The movie will be out later this year. But for now check out the teaser for it(he specialises in blood and gore, so be warned):

Went to a sweet show on sunday. An all covers show with Time Will Tell, Ten Paces, Worlds Apart, Had It & Ill Brigade. Was a fun show, pretty much just the bands playing covers of the bands that they grew up with and admire and were influenced by. Also Ill filled us in on the history of each band behinde the song they covered. Was a good Show.
Also R.I.P to Verse, Glad to see em before they broke up last week.

There are these concrete remotes such as this on spotted all over sydney stuck to the ground. I found this one in a back alley near Oxford St.

Lukeeys tatt, if you closley to the left side of the wrist, you might be able to see a inverted cross.
